This dress has both traditional and modern features. I used red as the pop of colour in this dress because it is my favourite colour and I think it really stands out against the black sequins and leapoard print pattern. I used leopoard print because it is one of my fave designs that symbolises strength, power, courage and determination which is what all Irish dancers need. I also customised this dress to my self by adding the letter s onto the skirt which is the first initial in my name, and added ‘Starr’ onto the back which is my middle name with loads of little Stars around it , this makes the dress very unique to me.
