I live in New Jersey, also known as The Garden State. When you fly into NJ, it's likely you will see highways, manufacturing plants and other not-so-pretty scenery. Some people may think that is all NJ is. My mom and I designed this dress to reflect the real Garden State, and think it's perfect for a dancer, like me, that hails from NJ. Lush green leaves made of mixed material on the skirt, climbing green vine detail on the sleeves, and blossoming pink roses, like the roses you see in many backyards in my town. Of course no Jersey Girl could wear a dress without lots of bling, so there are crystals throughout the design in different shades to light up the stage.
