I decided to draw late at night and got inspiration from the midnight sky. After a couple of sketches I got inspiration from the moon and stars, and how they lit up the night sky. From this idea I added a navy base and used light colour gems to show the stars and moon! I also got the gold elements from the gold/yellow stars that filled the midnight sky.
