This dress design is inspired by the students I help teach at my mom's Irish dance school. For the past few years, I have been a helper for many of the younger classes. One of my favorite games to play with my students is the 'butterfly game,' during which all the students sit in a circle in butterfly pose and answer the question, "If your butterfly could fly anywhere, where would it go?". Many of the students that I started teaching when they were 3 or 4 years old are now very involved in feiseanna and reaching solo dress and championship level. I would love to gift this dress to my studio so that one of my students can wear it and be reminded that they, like a butterfly, are beautiful and can fly high to achieve their goals.
